Worth Athletes off to a strong start in the Diamond League

Well done to Jessica Hennessey (1st in the U15 girls 200m and 2nd in the 100m), Kiah Bardouille-Lewis (2nd in U15 girls 800m) and the u15 girls relay team who were 2nd in the 4x100m.

Austin Langendoen-Adams was 1st in the U15 boys javelin and discus 3rd in the long jump and shot. Edward Harcombe won the U15 boys 1500m and Freddie Bosshard was 2nd in the long jump.

The U17 girls athletes put in some commendable performances including Ciara Halpin finishing 4th in the 100m.

Daniel Persad won the U17 boys 100m hurdles and Alfred Lord won the triple jump by 1cm! Renzo Zegers won the shot and Dillon Quirici was 2nd in the 800m.

The U20 boys team secured a 1,2 finish in the 100m with Josh Shaghaghi and Oliver Davies. Josh also won the 200m with Oli Davies 3rd. Nico Fernandez won the discus and Oliver Goodridge-McHugh was 2nd in the 400m. The boys 4 x 100m relay team finished 3rd.
