The Worth Equestrian Team had its first NSEA competition held at Felbridge, this was the County Qualifier for West Sussex, Surrey and Greater London. The show was very highly contented as it was the qualifier for the NNSEA National Championships, Addington Manor.

Worth School had two riders, competing as individuals, Alice Shoesmith (Year 10) and Annie Shoosmith (Year 7). Both girls rode lovely clear rounds in class one, with Annie being placed 4th out of 65 narrowly missing out by one place for the national championships . In the second class, which was very fiercely contested with over 100 in the class, Alice had an unlucky pole but Annie went clear and ended up being placed 6th on a very young pony . All in all a very successful first show jumping competition.

In December Zara lewis, Year 10, represented Worth School riding her pony DHI Langar. This is a points league dressage competition and a qualifier for the Dressage Championships at the NSEA National County Dressage Championships at Addington 9th April 2017. Zara was very successful and won the December class with a very impressive 75.2 % , gaining the highest overall score out of 45 competitors.
